The Only Picture on Venus!

We all know that how severe the environment on Venus

At temperature around 480 deg Celsius

With the air is full of sulphuric acid

And the air is so dense like walking in the water on Earth

Nothing can survive on the planet

Even with human's technology nowadays

It's quite impossible for any instrument 

To work on that kind of environment

Especially for the battery

Which is the power source for the instruments

This is the picture on Venus's surface

Taken by Soviet Venera Probe in 1981

Eventually the probe survived for a few minutes

Before it went offline/damaged by the bad environment

That's makes this the only picture on the surface

Making it so precious to all
